Just Like Grandma

I live near The Purple Foot and drive by it frequently. One day I stopped in because I was curious about this little shop that had been there for so long and wanted to make wine like my grandma did.

The lady behind the counter came out right away, she was very friendly and answered all of my questions. A few weeks later I went back to buy “Mary’s” wine kit. I talked to Karen for nearly an hour. Strawberries were in season so I got some and made the most wonderful wine from them.  I’ve also made wine from apples, rhubarb and grapes. I love it and wouldn’t shop anywhere else!
